Howdy, friends.

I’m Ken Lane from Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

I like to write about the pursuit of simple contentment, intentional living, and various life-enhancing philosophical schools of thought—from Hasidic Judaism to Mindfulness and Stoicism.

I also enjoy delving into the role of natural fitness—including running, jump rope, and the role of mindfulness in movement—usually on my other Substack, though.

Who is Ken?

I would consider myself a family man (husband, father), Tulsa Jew, Cherokee Nation Citizen, essayist, content marketer, cancer survivor, musician, naturalist runner, stoic, and ordained Dudeist clergyman registered in the State of Oklahoma (“The Dude abides.”)
